Anchorage to Denali
In the morning you will depart Anchorage by train towards Denali National Park. On clear days you get a great view of the Alaska Range and Mt. Denali. After your arrival you will be transfered to your hotel with the afternoon at your leisure.
Denali National Park
You will be picked up at your hotel for a 6 to 8 hour excursion deep into the Denali National Park. Explore the unspoiled forest and tundra wilderness, learn fascinating facts and gain new insights about Alaska's land on this guided tour. An experienced driver guide will provide you with lots of information on the area. With some luck you will see the captivating creatures that make Denali their home: Moose, bears, dall sheep or caribous. Marvel at the amazing scenery that surrounds you everywhere. The bus will stop when animals are spotted to give you time to enjoy the nature. On clear days you can catch amazing views of Denali - The Great One.
The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. Maybe you would like to go souvenir shopping in Denali Village and select one of the local restaurants for dinner.
Denali to Fairbanks
Board the train in the afternoon for the last leg to Fairbanks, where your tour ends.
This tour includes Adventure Class for all train services. Upgrades to GoldStar Class are available upon request!
GoldStar Class has a glass-dome ceiling and an outdoor, upper-level viewing platform. On the lower level, passengers enjoy a full-service dining room, and the tickets include meals, all soft beverages and two complimentary adult beverages per trip for passengers over 21.
