Day 1

Whitehorse

Enjoy the day in the capital of the Yukon Territory. You may want to explore some of the interesting museums or go for a walk along the Yukon River.

Day 2

Whitehorse Skagway by motorcoach & train

The White Pass and Yukon Route consists of one of the most spectacular train rides in the world. Enjoy the scenery while the train winds its way over mountain passes, along cliffs and through tunnels. It’s a technical masterpiece and once connected the whole stretch between Whitehorse and Skagway. Nowadays the leg between Whitehorse and Fraser is done by motorcoach.
Upon arrival in Skagway you are free to discover the charming town. A seven-block corridor along Broadway features historic false-front shops and restaurants, wooden sidewalks and restored buildings.

Day 3

Skagway to Gustavus by plane

Flight to Gustavus and transfer to your lodge at Glacier Bay. With a size of 13’000 km2 the National Park protects an impressive glacier setting. 16 glaciers break directly into the ocean and many whales, sea lions as well as other marine wildlife call this area their home.
Either today or on your last morning at Glacier Bay you will join a whale watching cruise into North America's most famous Humpback whale feeding grounds — Icy Straits and Pt. Adolphus. These areas are world-famous for the gathering of these gentle giants.

Day 4

Glacier Bay National Park

Today you will discover the secrets of Glacier Bay National Park on a National Park cruise. A catamaran will take you near spectacular glaciers and animals and lets you experience the magic of this place. A lunch on board is included in the trip.

Day 5

Gustavus to Juneau by plane

Today you will fly to Juneau, Alaska’s Capital city.
Within walking distance are many of the main attractions like the state capitol building, Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, several museums and historic South Franklin Street. One of the most popular attractions is Mendenhall Glacier, one of the major glaciers that extend from the 1,500-square-mile Juneau Icefield. For a great view of the area take Mount Roberts Tram.

Day 6

Juneau to Skagway by plane

Depending on the flight time you may have some more time to explore Juneau. Afterwards you fly back to Skagway.

Day 7

Skagway to Whitehorse by train & motorcoach

Step on the train again and once again enjoy the dramatic scenery on your way to Fraser where you will board the motorcoach that brings you back to Whitehorse.

Your trip ends today. You can either head back home or book one of our great selfdrives to explore the North even more!
