Railroad & Bus

The railway in Alaska and the Yukon Territory is rather used as a tourist attraction than to bring someone from A to B. There is not a dense railway network but especially in Alaska some of the prime attractions are connected by train. Railroad tours are a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the amazing countryside. Depending on your preference we offer a wide range of possibilities to explore Alaska by train: Multi-day tours, combinations of train and selfdrive tours, day-trips as well as single journey tickets.

There are a couple of bus services for independent travelers. Explore the Parks Highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks as you stop in Talkeetna and Denali National Park. Drive on the Top of the World Highway from Fairbanks to Whitehorse via Dawson City. And you even get access to places off the beaten path such as Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, as there is a bus service between Anchorage and McCarthy.
