The Dalton Trail Lodge is located in the South West of the Yukon, 39 km south of Haines Junction and is bordering Kluane National Park. The lodge is the perfect base for many outdoor adventures. You will find pristine wilderness, comfortable accommodation, gourmet meals and a first class service.
The Lodge is specialized in fishing vacations and offers various fishing packages. But for those who are not into fishing, room & meals options or hiking packages are also available.

The fine international cuisine is known far beyond the territory’s boundary and the meals are served in a family-style atmosphere.

The lodge offers 2 double and 8 single rooms in the main building and 10 double rooms in 4 cabins near the lake. Every room has its own private washroom including shower or bath.

Majestic mountains, immense forests and crystal-clear streams, rivers and lakes with their rich variety of fish will catch your imagination. In the summer time the sun can shine for as much as 20 hours per day, and temperature can reach above 30 degrees Celsius.

One of the best ways to enjoy Kluane National Park, its mountains, wide valleys, lakes and glaciers is to explore it on foot. Whether you are planning a short walk through the countryside or an extended trek into the wilderness, you will discover excellent hiking alternatives for the novice or expert. The best season for hiking is between June and September, when the trails are dry and the weather is likely to be warm.
Dalton Trail Lodge is located on the shores of Dezadeash Lake, bordering Kluane National Park. The lake is 16 kilometers long and up to 8 km wide. With your favored technique (fly fishing, spin casting or trolling) you can catch Lake Trout, Pike, Arctic Grayling, Whitefish and Burbot. The outlet of the lake (Sixmile/Dezadeash River) and the many creek inlets offer the river- and fly-fisherman non-stop action. There are well maintained 16 foot Aluminum boats with 15 HP 4-stroke engines at your disposal.
Dezadeash Lake is a warm and shallow lake, rich in plant and animal life. Here you can catch lake trout up to 30 pounds, northern pike to 20 pounds, arctic grayling, whitefish and burbot. The guests pair up for motorboats on the lake. The staff will brief you on safety and lake travel and will even tell you about the secret hot spots.
