Embark on the Avery H, a 28ft closed wheelhouse open cockpit sport fishing vessel departing out of Seward small boat harbor at 2 convenient times:
7am (come back at 12pm) and/or again 1pm (coming back at 6pm)

The captain and the highly trained and a professional crew of the Avery H will start the day by looking at the tides and determining if we should start trolling for salmon or bottom fishing for delicious Rockfish while you wait on the perfect tide to fish for the most popular and prized salmon in the great state of Alaska. The bait and tackle is all included with this amazing adventure.

Most of the fish you will be targeting will be on semi light tackle adding to the overall fishing experience, where people of all ages can enjoy fishing like experts with the help of the crew that will make sure even in the most hectic of times you can relaxed and have a great time. Don’t forget your camera ! for some of the most beautiful views and hopefully a fish of a lifetime.

Half Day Fishing Charter for Species In Season

Experience world-class fishing in Seward, Alaska with this 4 hours flexible half-day charters with the Thomasea! The trips depart three times daily at 7am, 12pm, and 5pm and can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to reach the fishing grounds. With custom-made-in-the-USA Thrasher Rods and ths Custom made 6 passenger Landing Vessel, you will fish for Non-Pelagic and Pelagic Rockfish, Pollock, Lingcod, and Silver Salmon (when in season). On occasion, king salmon may also be caught when fishing for silvers but the Avery H is the dedicated 5 hour charter that leaves from the harbor if you are interested in targeting Kings.

This action-packed trip is perfect for those who don’t have much time, as the crew focus on harvesting the full daily limit and often have great success! Free parking at Millers Landing is included with your charter that leaves right from the launch/landing area in Lowell Point, just South of Seward!. This trip also includes filleting of your fish and a private hanging station for photos.

Fishing in the late afternoon and on half-day charters can be a great experience. These trips come with the added bonus of not having to compete with other anglers and calmer waters. The boat takes about 35 to 40 minutes to reach prime fishing grounds, either Cape Resurrection or Cape Aialik, and although sightseeing is not part of the trip it often comes with the sight of whales, sea lions, eagles and more while fishing.
