The Inn

The Bear Track Inn features hand-crafted log construction with 14 spacious guest rooms, each with private baths and two queen size beds.

The lobby is the focal point of the Inn, stretching 30 feet from floor to ceiling, offering inspiring views of streams, wildlife, mountains, forests, meadows, and of Icy Strait. Wilderness abounds from windows throughout the lodge.

The Inn’s dining room features a show kitchen with the chef preforming their magic. All meals are included in the rate. Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room.

Activities included in your package:

Glacier Bay National Park full day cruise: To experience the grandeur and beauty of Glacier Bay, you must experience it aboard the high-speed day cruise vessel. See the best of what Glacier Bay has to offer. Cruise up bays where you can see massive glaciers up close and where abundant wildlife may be observed.

Whale watching: 3-1/2 hour cruise on the m/v Taz to Point Adolphus where you will see a variety of wildlife and sea life. Whale sightings are guaranteed.

Activities you can add on to your stay:

Salt Water Fishing: Includes guide and tackle. Alaska fishing licenses(required), custom fish smoking, processing, and gratuity are extra. Fish on local charter boat for hard-hitting salmon and barn door size halibut on a shared deluxe cabin cruiser with up to four people (boat features enclosed cabin and head).

Kayaking: Paddle around and see wildlife in Bartlett Cove! There is guided and unguided sea kayaking available. Choose from half day or fullday trips. These trips are perfectly suited for beginners and families and there are both, single and double kayaks are available.
