Depending on your arrival and departure date/time in Fairbanks, we can adjust the itinerary to fit your needs.
This package includes 4 nights in Fairbanks, so you can enjoy and explore the Golden Heart City and take part in some winter activities.
In addition, you will spend 2 nights at the Chena Hot Springs Resort with a variety of optional activities to choose from.
This package includes a reindeer walk, ice fishing, and a swim pass for the hot springs.
DAY 1
Welcome to Fairbanks! There is a lot to do in Alaska’s second largest city: Experience the old days at Pioneer Park, learn about history and cultures in the interesting museums and walk along Chena River.
DAY 2
You will be picked up at your hotel for your transfer to Chena Hot Springs Resort. Enjoy the scenic drive along Chena Hot Springs Road and keep your eyes open for moose, which are common in this area. Once you arrived at Chena Hot Springs Resort, enjoy a bath in the hot springs and relax.
DAY 3
Take advantage of a variety of optional activities including the Aurora Ice Museum, Dog Sledding, Snowmobile rides, Dog kennel tour, Aurora Viewing tours, etc.
DAY 4
Today you will be transferred from Chena Hot Springs Resort back to your Fairbanks hotel. In the evening you will be going on an Aurora / Ice Fishing tour (starting at 8:30pm, return around 2:30am)
DAY 5
Morning and afternoon at your leisure, in the evening (starting 10pm) you will be going on an Aurora dinner tour.
DAY 6
Afternoon activity: Walk with the reindeer (starts at 1 or 2pm), get ready to play reindeer games while observing the adaptations that make reindeer ideal for Arctic living. After the hour-long walk, you’ll learn a bit more about reindeer while enjoying homemade cookies and drinks.
DAY 7
End of the trip.
