Situated right on the shore of Tincup Lake close to the Kluane National Park in Canada’s Yukon Territory, surrounded by mile up upon mile of unspoiled natural landscape, Tincup Wilderness Lodge enjoys a truly unique location.

The surrounding Ruby Range mountains provide views of breathtaking beauty from dawn to dusk. The Lodge can be reached only by floatplane or helicopter. In order to ensure guests’ undisturbed privacy in a family environment, bookings are limited to a maximum of 8-10 guests per week.

Whether you actively engage in the various activities on offer, or simply spend your time relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet, your stay will be a truly unforgettable experience.

The Lodge

This is what true Canadian comfort looks like. Tincup Wilderness Lodge comprises a main lodge and three somewhat smaller free-standing log cabins, each divided into two accommodation units. The lodge and cabins are built of red Canadian cedar wood, which creates very pleasant living spaces.

Each accommodation unit has a separate hot-water shower and its own lavatory. LED lighting, solar-powered electricity and a woodstove are also provided. On arrival, you will find two freshly made up single beds with comfortable mattresses. These can easily be re-configured to form one double bed.

The larger lodge comprises a cozy living area with a woodstove, as well as a dining area and separate kitchen. There is a greenhouse built behind the lodge, which is used to grow fresh salads and herbs.

Sauna and Hot Tub is located on a separate gravel beach with beautiful sundeck and stunning view.

Tincup Lounge and Bar is in another building directly on the shore of Tincup Lake.

Activities

Fishing (lake trout, grayling and pike), kanoe, kayak, Motorboat (2 guests per boat), hiking with GPS/radio, wildlife watching, standup paddleboards, hot tub and sauna with sundeck, gold panning, all gear (incl. fishing equipment) and meals are included.

Northern lights (beginning mid August), guide for fishing and hiking at extra charge, sightseeing flights for example to Kluane National Park can be booked at the lodge.
