Tour Summary

Depart Skagway or Haines in the morning and head south through Lynn Canal, the continent’s longest and deepest glacial fjord.
Lynn Canal stretches over 100 miles long and is over 2000 feet deep. Marine life abounds in these waters, and a fully-narrated wildlife cruise will highlight the morning voyage. You will see hanging glaciers and on most cruises nesting bald eagles, harbor seals, and humpback or killer whales. The boat stops at a rookery where hundreds of Steller sea lions gather in the summer to breed and pup.
You will travel to Juneau aboard the Fjordland, a 65-foot, state-of-the-art, fast-hulled catamaran offering comfortable, indoor seating with 360-degree views.
Step onto the outdoor deck to experience breathtaking scenery up-close. Complimentary hot beverages and hearty morning and evening snacks are served on board.
Upon arrival at Yankee Cove, you will board a motorcoach for a transfer to downtown Juneau (approx. 1 hour). The bus drops off at Marine Park on the waterfront, with easy access to restaurants, shopping or the Mt Roberts tramway. You will have approximately four hours of “free” time to explore downtown. You can also take part in a tour at the hatchery. In the afternoon the bus returns you to Yankee Cove for the evening cruise back to Haines.

Depart Skagway at 8am , Depart Haines 8:30am arrives in Juneau at 11:30am
